“We gargoyles are the soldiers of this city. The need to stand vigilant and protect those below us has coursed through our veins since the day we were brought to life from the stone. My father however was not content with just protecting for he fell in love with a maiden within these walls and their happiness created me, an abomination of my kind. I was born without wings, and soft skin. I was considered in all regards a failure to my race, but in the darkness of my life came forth a light. It is a beacon of hope to slash through the wave of relentless evil and leave nothing but blood and destruction in our wake.”

My second submission for the Weapons and Warriors contest.
The bloodthirsty female half-Gargoyle soldier. She has a curvy build. Her wardrobe is impractical. She appears far more non-human than human.
This sword has a blade with a blue hue to it, styled to resemble a ray of the sun. Its grip is of a black wood with a pattern made of spirals and swirls painted on it.
